Camryn also made another trip to the doctor yesterday - yes, again. Her pediatrician told us to bring her back if her cough didn't improve or if she was still congested after her last round of antibiotics and nebulizer treatments. Well, she is still congested, so we took her back. This time, her ears were red and the doctor didn't like the fact that she is still congested in both her head and chest. So, we came home with yet another antibiotic and instructions to continue Margo Moo twice a day. And, on top of that, the pediatrician referred us to an ENT for a consult for tubes. She seems to think that her ears are causing all of these other problems. We knew that was coming sooner or later, so I can't even be upset about it. I figured it was inevitable, but I didn't expect it so soon. I remember (very vividly) getting tubes put in when I was 7, so I know it isn't a big deal and it helped me tremendously. So, if this is the route we have to take, I know it will be for the best. I called for an appointment, but they don't have an opening until May 2nd. So, we will wait patiently until then to see what the ENT says. And, we will pray that she makes it until then without any more problems!
